Sweden, A New Vision Of The Sandwich
Swedish bread is the latest trend in catering. Made with non-rising dough, it offers a smooth texture and a slightly sweetened taste.
Hints and tips:
- For breakfast: Lightly toasted.
- For cocktails: Cut in small pieces, it is a great basis for small canapés.
- As “surprise bread”: Trendy and colorful, very popular for cocktails and parties. Make sandwiches with two slices of Swedish bread and garnish with smoked salmon, cream cheese, Parma ham, goat cheese, guacamole. Once the sandwich is made, slice and layer the sections into a column. Spectacular!
- For sandwiches: Closed, rolled or layered. Swedish bread is an ideal match for fish sandwiches. In Scandinavian countries, it is eaten with sour cream, smoked salmon and dill. A fresh treat!
